Windows Vista Installation with UAC enabled
When installing Switch Center on Windows Vista with UAC (User Account Control) enabled, the default Program Files installation directory permissions prevent Switch Center to modify required files.
Workaround 1:
Open Switch Center installation folder right-click on SwitchCenter.exe and select the Properties sub menu. From the properties screen select the Compatibility tab and check “Run the program as an administrator” at the bottom and then click the OK button.
Workaround 2:
Turn off UAC from Windows Vista control panel and restart your computer.
